A highly compressed blackletter-inspired display face with sharply angled, broken strokes and aggressive pointed terminals. Stems lean forward consistently, giving the letters a fast, slashing rhythm, while counters are tight and often reduced to narrow slits. Curves are minimized in favor of faceted joins and blade-like diagonals, producing a uniform, vertical texture with frequent notches and spur details. Capitals are tall and rigid; lowercase maintains a compact, rhythmic pattern with distinctive blackletter forms and narrow apertures, and numerals follow the same cut, chiseled construction.

Best suited for large-scale display settings such as posters, album/track artwork, event promotions, and branding marks where a gothic or heavy aesthetic is desired. It can work well for labels and packaging that benefit from a dramatic, high-impact wordmark, especially in short titles and punchy headlines.

The overall tone is dark and confrontational, drawing on gothic and metal aesthetics while keeping a stylized, poster-ready edge. Its forward slant and spiked details feel energetic and dramatic, lending a sense of urgency and spectacle rather than restraint or neutrality.

The design intent appears to be a modern, exaggerated take on blackletter forms, optimized for striking silhouettes and a hard-edged, contemporary attitude. Its narrow build and spiked detailing prioritize visual impact and texture over extended reading comfort.

In text lines the dense vertical patterning creates strong texture and a continuous “barbed” silhouette along the baseline and cap line. The compressed proportions emphasize impact in short phrases, while tight counters and sharp interior corners can reduce clarity at smaller sizes.
