A slanted serif with oldstyle proportions and a gently calligraphic skeleton. Strokes show noticeable (but not extreme) contrast with diagonal stress, and many joins and serifs are softly bracketed rather than sharply cut. Terminals often finish in tapered, teardrop-like forms, giving the lowercase a lively, handwritten inflection. The italic construction is evident throughout, with flowing entry/exit strokes, angled axis, and compact, slightly irregular curves that keep the texture dynamic in paragraph settings.

It works well for book and long-form editorial typography where a refined italic is needed for emphasis, quotations, and secondary voices. The expressive lowercase also suits literary titles, pull quotes, and formal printed pieces such as programs or invitations where a traditional, cultivated texture is desirable.

The font conveys a bookish, classical tone with an editorial polish. Its italic voice feels expressive without becoming ornamental, balancing tradition and warmth. Overall it reads as cultured and slightly romantic, suited to text that wants a sense of heritage and care.

The design appears intended to provide a conventional, readable serif italic with a distinctly oldstyle, calligraphy-informed character. It aims for an elegant text rhythm and smooth page color while keeping enough gesture in the terminals and serifs to feel human and expressive.

Uppercase forms stay relatively stately and open, while the lowercase carries most of the movement through stronger slant and more animated terminals. Numerals follow the same slanted, calligraphic rhythm, helping mixed text maintain consistent color and tempo.
