A heavy, slabby serif letterform with compact counters and a sturdy, oldstyle typewriter skeleton. Strokes are thick and fairly even, with blunt terminals and squared-off serifs that read as stamped rather than sharply cut. The defining feature is the aggressive roughening: edges wobble, corners chip, and interiors show uneven bite marks that mimic worn metal type or ink spread on coarse paper. Spacing and widths feel deliberately inconsistent, reinforcing a handmade/printed-in-a-hurry rhythm while maintaining clear baseline discipline.

Best suited to display settings where texture is part of the message: posters, editorial headers, album/film titles, badges, labels, and packaging that needs a rugged, archival print vibe. It can work for short bursts of body copy in large sizes, but the dense texture is most effective in headlines and callouts where legibility and personality can balance.

The font conveys a tough, analog attitude—like an archived document, a protest flyer, or a crime-report heading pulled from a photocopier. Its distressed texture adds tension and grit, giving text a weathered, streetwise tone that can feel both nostalgic and confrontational.

The design appears intended to emulate worn letterpress or typewriter output, using consistent serif structure as a stable base and layering pronounced distress to suggest age, duplication, and physical printing artifacts. The result prioritizes atmosphere and materiality while preserving recognizable, traditional proportions.

At smaller sizes the textured contouring can darken joins and close counters, while at display sizes the irregular perimeter becomes a prominent graphic element. Numerals and capitals carry the same battered, ink-heavy presence, keeping the overall color dense and emphatic.
