A bold, calligraphic display face with sharp, wedge-like serifs and strongly flared terminals that suggest a broad-nib influence. Strokes show pronounced thick–thin modulation and an overall chiseled, slightly angular construction, with pointed joins and tapered ends on diagonals. Capitals are stately and wide-set, while lowercase forms keep a compact, short-bodied rhythm with lively, irregular contours that feel drawn rather than mechanically constructed. Numerals and punctuation follow the same cut-stone energy, staying heavy and high-contrast with assertive finishing strokes.

Best suited to display typography where its wedge serifs and contrast can be appreciated—titles, chapter heads, posters, signage, and themed branding. It can also work for short passages such as pull quotes or taglines when set with comfortable tracking and generous line spacing.

The tone is historic and theatrical, evoking manuscript and heraldic traditions while staying readable at display sizes. It carries a storybook gravitas—ornamental without becoming overly delicate—and projects a confident, old-world authority.

The design appears intended to deliver an old-world, calligraphic authority with dramatic contrast and sculpted terminals, balancing ornamental flavor with practical headline legibility. Its forms aim to feel hand-crafted and ceremonial rather than neutral or utilitarian.

Round letters (like O and Q) read as slightly squared by internal tension and terminal shaping, and many forms show subtle asymmetry that adds human character. Spacing appears intentionally open in capitals, helping the dense black strokes breathe in headings.
