A wiry, brush-driven display face with sharp tapers, needle-thin joins, and occasional swollen terminals that read like ink pooling. Stroke weight swings dramatically within single letters, creating a scratchy, hand-rendered rhythm with slightly irregular curves and inconsistent pressure. The forms lean and feel loosely calligraphic, with narrow bowls, pinched counters, and angular notches; crossbars and joins often end in pointed flicks. Spacing appears uneven by design, and numerals follow the same brittle, taper-heavy construction for a cohesive set.

Best suited to headlines and short phrases where its distressed, tapering strokes can be appreciated—film and event posters, horror or fantasy book covers, game title screens, and atmospheric packaging. It can also work for pull quotes or section headers when paired with a calmer text face to carry longer reading.

The overall tone is eerie and theatrical, like handwritten signage for a haunted attraction or a cursed storybook. Its spines, drips, and abrupt thins give it a nervous energy that feels ritualistic and slightly chaotic rather than polished or neutral. The result is more unsettling than aggressive—suggestive of shadows, whispers, and old ink on rough paper.

The design appears intended to evoke a hand-inked, uncanny atmosphere through high-contrast brush pressure, sharp terminals, and intentionally uneven construction. Rather than aiming for typographic neutrality, it prioritizes mood and texture, producing a haunted, story-driven voice for display settings.

The uppercase has a more dramatic presence than the lowercase, with several letters relying on long, delicate hairlines that may disappear at small sizes or low-contrast printing. Round letters (O, Q, C) read as airy, open loops while letters with diagonals (V, W, X, Y) emphasize dagger-like points and sharp internal angles. In running text the texture is lively and broken, so line length and tracking will strongly affect legibility.
