This serif shows an extreme thick–thin rhythm with hairline horizontals and strong vertical stems, producing a crisp, high-gloss texture. Serifs are fine and largely unbracketed, with sharp triangular terminals and precise joins. Uppercase forms are tall and stately with generous inner counters (notably in C, O, Q), while lowercase maintains a compact, bookish rhythm with two-storey a and g and a narrow, calligraphic feel in letters like f and j. Numerals follow the same high-contrast logic, with delicate thins and prominent main strokes that read best when given room and size.

Best suited to headlines, subheads, pull quotes, and large-scale editorial typography where its contrast and hairline features can shine. It can support premium branding, packaging, and invitations when printed or rendered at sizes that preserve the delicate strokes. For long passages, it will perform more comfortably in well-spaced, higher-size settings rather than dense, small text.

The overall tone is polished and formal, conveying luxury and editorial sophistication. The dramatic contrast and needle-like details create a sense of precision and prestige, leaning toward fashion and magazine typography rather than utilitarian text. It feels poised, cultured, and slightly theatrical in display settings.

The design appears intended to deliver a modern classic serif voice with strong contrast and a luxurious, editorial presence. Its controlled proportions and crisp terminals suggest a focus on high-impact typography for display and refined branding rather than rugged, everyday reading at small sizes.

In continuous text, the hairline strokes and sharp serifs create a bright, sparkling surface that benefits from ample spacing and high-resolution reproduction. The design’s contrast and fine details make it especially sensitive to size and output conditions, where thin strokes may recede.
