This typeface is built from hefty, sculpted serif forms with pronounced thick–thin modulation and a distinctly carved look. Strokes are interrupted by sharp triangular notches and slit-like cut-ins that read like stencil breaks or ink-trap details, producing bright internal highlights against dense black shapes. Serifs are flared and wedge-like rather than blocky, and many curves (notably in bowls and rounds) feel chamfered or faceted, giving the letterforms a stylized, poster-driven rhythm. Uppercase proportions are broad and steady, while the lowercase is compact and punchy with single-storey ‘a’ and ‘g’ and minimal apertures that emphasize silhouette over interior space. Numerals follow the same cut-and-carve logic, with distinctive breaks and dramatic terminals that keep the set visually consistent.

Best suited to display settings where its carved details and sculptural contrast can be appreciated: headlines, posters, magazine/album titling, boutique branding, and logo work. It can also work for short pull quotes or packaging callouts when set large enough to preserve the interior cuts and counters.

The overall tone is bold, luxe, and performative—more runway headline than quiet text face. Its carved interruptions and high drama contrast suggest a retro-modern sensibility that can feel both glamorous and slightly gothic, depending on layout and spacing. The texture it creates is attention-grabbing and assertive, with an intentionally ornamental bite.

The design intent appears to be a contemporary decorative serif that borrows from stencil-like construction and ink-trap carving to create a distinctive, fashion-forward voice. It prioritizes silhouette, contrast, and textural novelty over neutral readability, aiming to deliver instant identity in display typography.

The internal cuts and tight counters can close up quickly at small sizes, so the design reads best when given room—either through larger point sizes or more generous tracking and leading. In blocks of text it produces a strong, patterned texture where the notch details become a defining motif.
