A heavy, display-oriented slab serif with pronounced bracketed serifs and confident, rectangular stems. The design mixes broad, sturdy verticals with tighter joins and noticeable stroke modulation, producing crisp dark shapes and bright internal counters. Terminals are largely flat and square-ended, while many corners are subtly rounded, giving the letterforms a slightly worn, inked-in impression. Lowercase forms are compact with a single-story “a” and “g,” a stout “t,” and generous, rounded bowls; numerals are similarly chunky with strong, flat bases and clear apertures.

Best suited to large-size applications such as posters, headlines, cover lines, signage, and brand marks that need a forceful, traditional presence. It can also work for short editorial callouts or packaging labels where a bold, classic slab voice helps establish hierarchy and attention.

The overall tone is bold and emphatic, with a classic poster-and-headline energy. It reads as traditional and workmanlike, evoking old print, broadsides, and signage where solidity and impact matter more than delicacy.

The design appears intended to deliver maximum impact with a familiar slab-serif structure, combining squared terminals and weighty proportions with slightly softened edges for a printed, heritage feel.

In text settings the dense color and short, strong serifs create a rhythmic, stamped texture, especially in all-caps. The shapes remain highly legible at larger sizes, where the bracketed slab details and the subtle rounding at joins become part of the personality.
