A very heavy, high-contrast display serif with compact proportions and pronounced flared terminals. Strokes are mostly straight and geometric with squared-off shoulders, while the serifs widen into wedge-like, slightly notched forms that create an engraved/Tuscan feel. Counters are relatively tight and often squared (notably in C, G, O, e), and joins show sharp triangular cut-ins that read like subtle ink traps. The lowercase is sturdy and blocky with single-storey a and g, a stout t with a strong foot, and a narrow, vertical rhythm that stays consistent from glyph to glyph.

Best suited for large sizes where the flared serifs and notched details can read clearly—posters, event graphics, headlines, and signage. It also fits branding or packaging that wants a vintage or athletic display voice, and short punchy copy where dense color and strong shapes are an advantage.

The tone feels bold and old-timey—part circus poster, part collegiate headline—mixing rugged confidence with a touch of ornamental swagger. Its sharp notches and flared serifs add drama and a slightly mischievous, theatrical energy, while the dense color keeps it commanding at a glance.

The letterforms appear designed to deliver maximum impact with a distinctive ornamental serif signature—evoking historical wood-type/engraved influences while staying rigid and graphic for modern display use. The consistent corner cut-ins and flared terminals suggest an intention to create a recognizable, stamp-like texture across both caps and lowercase.

The design favors impactful silhouettes over delicate detail: internal spaces are minimized, and distinctive cut-ins at corners and joins become a key identifying motif. Numerals follow the same chunky, flared construction, maintaining a uniform headline texture across mixed text.
