A sharply contrasted italic serif with a distinctly upright, vertical-stress feel: thick main strokes are paired with hairline joins and razor-thin serifs. The letterforms are wide and open, with a forward slant and a lively, slightly calligraphic rhythm created by curved entry/exit strokes and occasional swash-like terminals (notably in lowercase such as j, y, and g). Serifs read as fine, pointed wedges with minimal bracketing, and counters are generous, giving the face an airy, high-fashion profile despite the heavy overall color. Numerals are similarly sculpted, with pronounced curves and delicate internal joins that echo the text forms.

Best suited to display settings such as headlines, magazine titles, poster typography, and brand marks where contrast and italic energy can be appreciated. It can work for short pull quotes or section openers, but the extreme thin strokes and busy detailing make it less comfortable for long continuous reading at small sizes.

The tone is bold and performative—evoking fashion mastheads, classic print luxury, and dramatic editorial headlines. Its high contrast and sharp detailing feel refined and formal, while the italic motion adds flair and urgency.

The design appears intended to deliver a classic high-contrast serif look with an expressive italic voice—combining refined, fashion-oriented elegance with attention-grabbing weight and sculpted terminals for strong impact in editorial and branding contexts.

In the sample text, the dense strokes and hairlines create a striking light–dark shimmer that becomes more pronounced as size decreases, suggesting the design is meant to be seen large. Round forms like O and o show strong vertical emphasis, and several lowercase characters use distinctive hooked or teardrop-like terminals that add personality and a slightly vintage display character.
