A monospaced roman with chunky, blunt serifs and lightly irregular contours that mimic uneven inking. Strokes show subtle wobble and small nicks at terminals, with rounded corners and softened joins that keep the texture feeling organic rather than geometric. Capitals are sturdy and slightly narrow-feeling within their fixed widths, while lowercase forms are compact with a straightforward, utilitarian construction and clear, open counters. Numerals follow the same stamped rhythm, with simple shapes and a modest amount of asymmetry that reinforces the mechanical, imperfect print impression.

Well-suited to display and short-to-medium text where a typewritten, lived-in atmosphere is desired—posters, book covers, title cards, and editorial pull quotes. It also works for packaging callouts or branding accents that want an archival or documentary voice, especially when paired with simple layouts that let the texture show.

The font reads as vintage and analog, evoking typed documents, carbon copies, and worn office ephemera. Its texture adds a slightly gritty, handmade tone that can feel archival, noir, or DIY depending on context, while the steady monospaced cadence keeps it grounded and practical.

The design appears intended to capture the visual personality of mechanical typing and imperfect print—regular spacing and utilitarian letterforms combined with worn edges and slight stroke irregularity to suggest age, touch, and physical reproduction.

The consistent fixed-width spacing creates a pronounced horizontal rhythm in running text, and the distressed edges become more noticeable at larger sizes where the irregularities read as intentional character. In paragraphs, the texture remains present but not overly noisy, giving a believable “ink on paper” feel.
