A heavy, all-caps-forward display face with irregular, torn-looking contours and sharp, wedge-like terminals. Strokes are mostly vertical and blocky, but the edges wobble and nibble inward and outward as if stamped, carved, or printed with worn type, creating a distressed silhouette. Counters tend to be tight and sometimes asymmetrical (notably in rounded letters), and the overall rhythm is lumpy and organic with subtle width changes from glyph to glyph. The lowercase follows the same roughened construction, with compact bowls and thick stems, producing dense color and strong texture in text lines.

Best suited to short, high-impact settings such as headlines, posters, packaging, and title cards where the rough silhouette can carry the mood. It can also work for logotypes or badge-style marks in horror, dark fantasy, or distressed-vintage themes, while extended paragraphs will read as intentionally noisy and textured.

The letterforms project an ominous, haunted tone—more “old press / cursed poster” than slick cinematic horror. Its distressed black mass and jagged finishing suggest decay, grit, and a theatrical sense of menace, reading as antique, arcane, and slightly chaotic rather than polished or modern.

The design appears intended to evoke distressed, old-world display typography—like worn letterpress or hand-carved signage—while dialing up tension through jagged terminals and irregular outlines. Consistency of the roughening across caps, lowercase, and numerals suggests an emphasis on cohesive atmosphere and bold, immediately recognizable texture.

In the sample text, the uneven edges create pronounced texture and a vibrating outline that becomes more noticeable as lines stack, emphasizing atmosphere over smooth readability. Numerals are similarly rugged and weighty, matching the uppercase in presence and serving well as attention-grabbing figures.
