A serif text face with gently bracketed serifs, moderate stroke modulation, and an intentionally uneven, inked edge that mimics printed or drawn letterforms. Curves are slightly lumpy and terminals end in softened wedges and blunt tips, producing a tactile rhythm rather than a polished, geometric one. Proportions feel traditional and readable, with open counters and steady spacing; uppercase forms are sturdy and classical, while lowercase shows mild calligraphic movement with sturdy stems and modest ascenders/descenders. Numerals follow the same roughened treatment, keeping a consistent color across mixed settings.

Well suited to long-form reading in books, editorial layouts, and literary branding where a traditional serif voice is desired with added texture. It also works effectively for packaging, posters, and headings that benefit from a subtle letterpress/hand-printed impression, especially when the goal is warmth and character over clinical precision.

The overall tone is warm and bookish, with a quietly historic, handmade character. The roughened outlines add a rustic, analog feel—more storybook and letterpress than corporate—without becoming distressed to the point of losing clarity.

The design appears intended to blend classic old-style readability with a deliberately imperfect, inked finish, evoking traditional printing and hand-influenced forms. It aims to feel familiar and trustworthy in text while adding a distinctive, tactile surface for display moments.

In text, the face maintains a consistent gray value, but the edge texture becomes a prominent feature at larger sizes and in high-contrast reproduction. The slightly irregular outlines suggest an intentional “printed” texture, so alignment and crispness feel organic rather than mechanical.
