A heavy, block-based display face with compact proportions and a slightly irregular rhythm. Letterforms are built from chunky verticals and squared bowls, then intentionally disrupted with jagged, torn-looking edges and chipped corners that create uneven silhouettes. Counters are generally small and geometric, with occasional notch-like intrusions and blunt terminals that keep the texture high even at larger sizes. The overall construction stays upright and fairly consistent, while the distressed contour treatment adds lively, broken detail across the set.

Best suited for short, high-impact text such as posters, event flyers, album art, title cards, and bold packaging moments where texture is desirable. It can work for logos and badges in gritty or industrial themes, especially at medium-to-large sizes where the torn edges read clearly. For longer copy, it’s most effective in brief bursts—pull quotes, labels, or section headers—paired with a cleaner companion for body text.

The texture reads as rough printing and abrasion, giving the font a gritty, confrontational energy. It evokes DIY poster-making, warehouse signage, and underground music ephemera—bold, loud, and intentionally imperfect. The hard angles and chipped outlines lean more industrial than playful, projecting urgency and toughness.

The design appears intended to deliver maximum visual impact through a sturdy, geometric base that remains legible, while a consistent distressed treatment supplies attitude and tactile grit. It aims to look deliberately worn and hand-made, like cut stencils or battered lettering, without losing the strong block structure that anchors the forms.

The distressing is applied as perimeter chipping rather than internal noise, so interiors remain mostly clear while the outer edges carry the character. Spacing and widths vary enough to feel hand-cut, and the numerals match the same rugged, blocky language for cohesive titling.
