A serif typeface with traditional, bookish proportions and moderate stroke contrast, distinguished by a consistent inline cut running through most stems and curves. Serifs are bracketed and fairly robust, with crisp terminals and a steady, even rhythm across capitals and lowercase. Round letters keep generous counters while the inline treatment creates a double-stroke impression that adds texture without collapsing the interior space. Numerals follow the same construction, reading clearly with the inline detail preserved at display sizes.

Best suited to headlines, titling, and other display applications where the inline detail can be appreciated—such as posters, book covers, editorial feature openers, and heritage-leaning branding. It can work for short text blocks in larger sizes, but the decorative interior line will be less distinct at small sizes and dense settings.

The inline carving lends a vintage, engraved flavor reminiscent of classic editorial and packaging typography. It feels formal and established, with a slightly decorative, crafted character that suggests heritage rather than minimalism.

The design appears intended to merge a classic serif text skeleton with an engraved inline treatment, creating a familiar reading structure while adding ornamental depth for expressive, premium-looking typography.

The inline is treated as a continuous internal channel rather than a dashed or segmented effect, producing a strong, cohesive pattern in text. In paragraphs it reads like a conventional serif from a distance, while up close the interior line adds contrast and visual interest; this makes it especially sensitive to size, with the effect becoming more pronounced as the type gets larger.
