A high-contrast serif with pronounced thick–thin modulation and a crisp, vertical rhythm. Serifs are fine and sharp, tending toward hairline brackets or near-unbracketed joins, with tapered beak-like terminals visible on several strokes. Capitals feel stately and slightly wide in their internal counters, while the lowercase is compact with a notably short x-height and relatively tall ascenders, creating a dressy, old-style texture. Numerals and punctuation carry the same contrast and delicate horizontals, giving the whole design a polished, print-like finish.

Best suited to display typography such as headlines, deck copy, pull quotes, and cover titling where its contrast and hairline detailing can shine. It also works well for editorial branding—magazines, cultural institutions, and premium product identities—especially when paired with generous spacing and high-quality output.

The overall tone is elegant and formal, with a fashion-forward, premium feel. Its dramatic contrast and delicate details communicate sophistication and authority, leaning more toward curated editorial spaces than utilitarian reading environments.

The design appears intended as a modern, high-contrast serif for sophisticated display use, balancing classical serif construction with sharper, more contemporary finishing. It prioritizes elegance and impact through vertical stress, tight lowercase proportions, and meticulous hairline details.

At larger sizes the hairlines and fine serifs read especially clean, while in smaller settings the contrast can make horizontals and joins feel intentionally delicate. The design’s narrow x-height and strong vertical emphasis produce a refined, somewhat airy line color in text, with capitals that take visual precedence.
