This serif shows a distinctly calligraphic, old-style structure with bracketed serifs and sharp, wedge-like terminals. Strokes exhibit pronounced thick–thin modulation, with tapered joins and slightly irregular, hand-cut contours that give the forms a lively, less-mechanical texture. Capitals are compact and sturdy with flared strokes (notably in letters like A, M, N, and V), while the lowercase keeps an even, readable texture with modest extenders and a slightly soft, organic curve quality. Numerals follow the same high-contrast, carved rhythm, with strong vertical emphasis and crisp finishing details.

Well-suited for editorial typography, book covers, and chapter headings where a classic, traditionally crafted voice is desirable. It can also work for packaging or branding that aims for heritage cues, and for posters or pull quotes where the high-contrast, pointed terminals provide presence and texture.

The overall tone feels historical and bookish, suggesting classic literature, early print, and traditional craft. Its crisp contrast and pointed terminals add seriousness and a faintly dramatic, archaic flavor, while the subtle irregularities keep it warm and human rather than strictly formal.

The design appears intended to evoke an old-style, calligraphic serif with a visibly hand-made imprint—combining high-contrast modulation and crisp serifs to produce a historically flavored, literary texture that stands out in prominent settings while remaining structured and readable.

Across the sample text, the face maintains an energetic rhythm: sharp serifs and tapered terminals create sparkle, and the contrast makes it most distinctive at display-to-text crossover sizes where its texture remains vivid. The shapes read as intentionally “hand-inked” or “hand-cut,” with slightly uneven edges that contribute character without becoming distressed.
