A heavy, monoline, fixed-width design with compact counters and sturdy, slab-like terminals. Strokes are visibly irregular with softened corners, slight swelling, and occasional nicks that suggest ink spread or worn type. The overall rhythm is steady and grid-friendly, while the distressed edges add texture without breaking the basic mechanical construction. Numerals and capitals carry the same dense color, with rounded interior shapes and consistent sidebearings that reinforce an even, typewriter-like cadence.

Well-suited to headlines, posters, and cover typography where a tough, printed texture is desirable. It also works for branding accents, packaging labels, and editorial callouts that want a typed, archival feel. For longer text, it’s most effective in short blocks, captions, or pull quotes where its strong texture can be appreciated.

The font reads as gritty and analog, evoking typed pages, carbon copies, and well-used office machines. Its dark, slightly blotty texture brings a pulpy, noir-ish energy that feels practical rather than polished. The result is assertive and nostalgic, with a hands-on, imperfect authenticity.

The design appears intended to capture the look of mechanical typing with the visual noise of ink wear and imperfect impressions. It prioritizes a consistent fixed-width structure and strong presence, while adding deliberate roughness to suggest age, authenticity, and tactile print.

The weight produces strong page color and holds up well at display sizes, where the roughness becomes a key stylistic feature. At smaller sizes, the dense counters and textured edges may make long passages feel heavy, so spacing and line height become important for comfort.
