This serif shows a crisp, high-contrast build with hairline serifs and pronounced thick–thin transitions. Strokes tend to be sharply tapered, with fine entry/exit terminals that feel drawn rather than purely mechanical. Proportions are on the tall side, with ample verticality in capitals and clear, open counters in rounds like C, O, and Q. The lowercase keeps a steady, readable rhythm, while details such as the two-storey a, the looped g, and the long, elegant f add a distinctly bookish texture. Numerals follow the same contrast-driven logic, with narrow stems and delicate curves that read best at display-to-text crossover sizes rather than tiny settings.

Well suited to magazine typography, cultural/editorial layouts, and premium branding where a refined serif voice is desired. It performs especially well for headlines, deck copy, pull quotes, and book-cover titling, and can also serve in short to medium passages when set with enough size and spacing to protect the fine details.

The overall tone is polished and literary, with a distinctly editorial sophistication. Its sharp contrast and fine terminals give it a luxurious, fashion-forward edge, while the conventional serif skeleton keeps it grounded and familiar.

The design intent appears to be a contemporary take on a classic text-serif structure, emphasizing dramatic contrast and elegant finishing for a premium, editorial presence. It aims to balance tradition with a sharper, more fashionable silhouette.

The face rewards generous typesetting: slightly increased tracking and comfortable leading help preserve the delicacy of the thin strokes. In the sample text, the sharp joins and tapered diagonals (notably in V, W, and Y) contribute to a lively, high-end sparkle on the page.
