A high-contrast serif with crisp wedge-like terminals and pronounced thick–thin modulation. The serifs tend toward tapered, flared shapes rather than blunt slabs, and many strokes finish in sharp points that add sparkle. Uppercase forms read stately and compact, while the lowercase shows more movement, with generous curves, a double-storey “g,” and an italic-like liveliness despite remaining upright. Overall spacing feels moderate, with a varied rhythm across letters that contributes to a slightly decorative, display-leaning texture in paragraphs.

Well suited to editorial headlines, book and magazine titling, cultural or academic branding, packaging, and pull quotes where a classic serif tone with extra character is desirable. It can also work for short-form body text or introductions when you want a more expressive, high-contrast texture than a neutral book face.

This typeface feels classical and literary, with an assertive, slightly theatrical presence. Its sharp, calligraphic hairlines and lively curves give it a refined but opinionated tone—formal enough for tradition, yet distinctive enough to read as stylized.

The design appears intended to deliver a traditional serif voice with added personality through sharp, tapered details and energetic stroke modulation. It aims to stand out in larger sizes while still maintaining a coherent, readable text color in short passages.

Figures are similarly high-contrast and stylized, matching the letterforms’ pointed finishing strokes and giving numerals a dressy, old-world feel. The overall texture in sample text shows noticeable sparkle from hairlines and sharp terminals, which becomes most effective at medium-to-large sizes.
