A high-contrast serif with a pronounced vertical axis and strong thick–thin modulation. The serifs read as sharp, refined wedges with minimal bracketing, and the hairlines become very thin where curves turn or diagonals meet stems. Capitals are broad and steady with generous interior space, while lowercase forms show compact, sturdy bowls and distinct tapering at joins, creating a crisp, engraved-like rhythm. Numerals follow the same contrast logic, with weight concentrated in verticals and delicate connecting strokes.

Well-suited to editorial typography, cover lines, and display settings where contrast and sharp serif detail can be appreciated. It can also work for short-form reading—introductions, pull quotes, and section heads—when sufficient size and spacing are available to preserve the delicate hairlines.

The overall tone is formal and assertive, with a classic, editorial presence. Its crisp hairlines and sharp terminals add a sense of drama and sophistication, lending text a serious, established voice rather than a casual one.

The design appears intended to deliver a classic, high-end serif voice with strong typographic hierarchy—pairing authoritative, wide capitals with refined, high-contrast detailing for impactful titles and polished editorial composition.

At larger sizes the fine hairlines and pointed serifs create elegant sparkle and clear hierarchy; in dense settings the strong contrast becomes the dominant texture. The design’s wide capitals and firm verticals give headlines a stable, monumental feel while maintaining a refined finish.
