This is a slanted, high-contrast serif with pronounced thick–thin modulation and sharp, bracketed serifs. Capitals are sculpted and slightly condensed in feel despite generous overall width, with crisp wedge terminals and lively curves (notably in C, G, S, and Q). Lowercase forms show a calligraphic rhythm: the a is single‑storey, bowls are full and rounded, and several letters use expressive entry/exit strokes that read almost swashlike in text. Numerals follow the same contrast and slant, with elegant curves and small finishing strokes that keep the set cohesive at display sizes.

It works especially well for magazine headlines, editorial titles, book covers, and promotional display typography where high contrast and a dynamic slant can carry personality. In text settings it can suit pull quotes and short passages, particularly when ample size and line spacing preserve the fine strokes.

The overall tone is confident and refined, with a dramatic, editorial presence. The sharp serifs and pronounced contrast create a luxurious, fashion-and-magazine sensibility, while the lively italic energy adds a sense of movement and sophistication.

The design appears intended to deliver a classic serif voice with heightened contrast and an energetic, calligraphic italic flavor, balancing traditional letterforms with showier terminals for attention-grabbing typography.

Spacing appears relatively open for an italic, helping maintain clarity in longer lines, though the strong contrast and pointed details give it a distinctly display-leaning color. Distinctive features include the curling lowercase j and f, the expressive z, and a Q with a bold, sweeping tail that stands out in headlines.
