A calligraphic serif with a gently right-leaning, cursive stance and a broad, open footprint. Strokes are smooth and low-contrast, with bracketed, slightly flared serifs that often end in sharp wedge-like tips. Curves are generously rounded, terminals tend to be softly tapered, and several forms show subtle swelling and notched joins that give an inked, hand-guided feel. The lowercase features lively oldstyle proportions, including a single-storey a and g, a looping f with a pronounced overhang, and a y with a curved descender; capitals are sturdy and somewhat condensed in their inner spaces, with distinctive diagonals and tapered cross-strokes.

This face works well for book covers, editorial headings, pull quotes, and short-to-medium text where a classic, story-driven tone is desired. It also suits branding and packaging for heritage or artisanal products, especially when set at sizes that let the tapered serifs and lively joins show clearly.

The overall tone feels traditional and literary, with a touch of medieval or storybook character. Its italic rhythm reads expressive rather than formal, suggesting handwritten influence while remaining structured enough for composed typography. The result is warm and personable, suited to conveying heritage, craft, or narrative voice.

The design appears intended to blend conventional serif readability with a more human, calligraphic italic motion. By keeping contrast restrained and forms open, it aims for sturdy legibility while using flared serifs, oldstyle lowercase shapes, and distinctive terminals to add personality and historical flavor.

Round characters like O/Q and several counters appear slightly pinched or notched in places, which adds sparkle at larger sizes. Numerals are stylized with noticeable curves and angled cuts, leaning toward display-oriented text settings. Spacing in the sample text looks comfortable, supporting continuous reading while preserving the font’s animated texture.
