A sculptural serif with strong thick–thin modulation and an incised, cut-out character. Many terminals and joins appear formed by sharp triangular notches and wedge-like cuts, creating a faceted rhythm across stems and bowls. Serifs are small and pointed rather than bracketed, with crisp corners and abrupt transitions that emphasize contrast. Counters are generally round-to-oval but frequently interrupted by those triangular intrusions, giving letters a chiseled, ornamental texture while maintaining a fairly classical, upright foundation.

Best suited to large sizes where the incised details can be clearly seen: magazine headlines, fashion and culture editorial design, posters, title treatments, and distinctive brand marks. It can also work for short subheads or pull quotes when generous spacing and size preserve its sharp internal cuts.

The overall tone is dramatic and editorial, blending classical luxury cues with a distinctly modern, sliced geometry. Its sharp notches and emphatic contrast feel fashion-forward and theatrical, suggesting high-end branding or statement typography rather than quiet text work.

The design appears intended to reinterpret a classic serif structure through a decorative, chiseled treatment—using consistent triangular cut-ins and wedge terminals to add sparkle and tension. The goal seems to be impactful display typography that reads as premium and stylized while staying legible in short runs.

Uppercase forms read especially monumental due to broad proportions and bold massing, while the repeated wedge cuts create a consistent decorative motif across caps, lowercase, and numerals. The numerals follow the same high-contrast logic, with the 0 notably split by a vertical negative cut, reinforcing the carved aesthetic.
