A sculpted serif with pronounced thick–thin modulation and sharp, tapered joins that give the strokes a chiseled feel. Serifs read as wedge-like and often slightly flared, with subtle bracketing that smooths transitions into stems. Counters are compact and well-contained, while curves (C, O, S) show crisp internal shaping and a controlled, slightly angular rhythm. Lowercase forms keep a traditional, bookish skeleton with distinctive terminals and a sturdy, weighty presence; numerals follow the same high-contrast logic, with a notably round 8 and a curving, old-style-leaning 9.

Best suited to display settings such as magazine titles, pull quotes, posters, and high-end branding where contrast and sharp detailing can be appreciated. It can also work for short editorial passages or captions when set with comfortable size and leading, but it’s most convincing when used to create a dramatic, premium typographic voice.

The overall tone is refined and theatrical, combining an editorial seriousness with a fashion-forward edge. Its sharp modulation and sculpted terminals evoke prestige and ceremony, making the texture feel intentional and high-impact rather than purely utilitarian.

The design appears aimed at delivering a classic serif foundation with heightened contrast and flared, wedge-like finishing to amplify elegance and impact. It prioritizes striking letter silhouettes and refined detail for contemporary editorial and brand applications.

Spacing and rhythm favor strong silhouettes: diagonals (V, W, Y) feel taut and pointed, while verticals dominate and create a confident, stately cadence in headlines. The design rewards larger sizes where the hairlines, beaks, and flared endings remain clear and crisp.
