This serif typeface shows a pronounced thick–thin rhythm with vertical stress, pairing sturdy main stems with very fine hairlines. Serifs are sharp and well defined, generally unbracketed, giving terminals a crisp, chiseled finish. Proportions feel generously wide with open counters and a steady, upright stance; round letters are relatively large and smooth, while joins and diagonals stay clean and controlled. The lowercase reads bookish and compact with a traditional two-storey a and g, and the numerals follow the same high-contrast logic with delicate connecting strokes.

It is well suited to editorial headlines, pull quotes, and display typography where its contrast and sharp serifs can be appreciated. It also fits refined branding, packaging, and formal printed materials such as invitations or programs, especially when set at medium to large sizes with ample leading.

Overall it conveys a polished, high-end tone associated with classic publishing and fashion-led typography. The extreme contrast and fine details create a sense of drama and elegance, while the upright construction keeps it composed and authoritative.

The design appears intended to deliver a modernized take on classical high-contrast serif letterforms: elegant, wide-set, and optimized for impactful display while retaining a traditional, literary foundation in the lowercase and numerals.

At larger sizes the hairlines and thin serifs become a defining feature, producing a bright, shimmering texture across lines. In smaller sizes or lower-resolution contexts, the delicate strokes may appear lighter than the strong verticals, so spacing and reproduction method will strongly influence the final color on the page.
