A slanted serif with calligraphic construction and crisp, chiseled terminals. Strokes show moderate thick–thin modulation with sharp, wedge-like serifs and subtly bracketed joins, giving the letterforms a carved, pen-drawn feel rather than a mechanical one. Proportions are compact and slightly condensed, with lively rhythm and small variations in stroke endings that keep the texture animated in text. The lowercase has a traditional, readable skeleton with gently tapered stems, while capitals are assertive and angular with distinctive, faceted curves.

Well suited to book covers, chapter openers, editorial headlines, and cultural or heritage-themed branding where a classic, crafted tone is desired. It can also work for invitations and posters, especially when set with generous spacing and moderate line lengths to let the angular detailing breathe.

The overall tone is historical and literary, evoking early printing and hand-set type with a slightly dramatic, storybook flair. Its energetic italics and pointed detailing convey tradition and ceremony more than neutrality, lending an old-world voice to headlines and short passages.

Designed to capture a traditional italic serif voice with visible calligraphic influence and sculpted terminals, balancing readability with a distinctive, historical texture. The intent appears to be a characterful text-and-display companion that brings period flavor without becoming overly ornate.

The numerals and capitals carry the same sharp terminal language as the letters, producing a consistent, slightly spiky texture. In continuous text the slant and narrow fit create a forward-leaning cadence, while the wedge serifs help maintain word shape and line cohesion.
