A serif typeface with sturdy, fairly compact letterforms and softly bracketed serifs, rendered with visibly irregular, worn outlines. Strokes show slight swelling and pinched joints, with blotchy corners and intermittent roughness that suggests uneven inking or degraded printing. Curves are somewhat lumpy and counters are imperfectly smooth, producing a lively texture without becoming illegible. Spacing and widths vary from glyph to glyph, contributing to an organic rhythm in both the uppercase grid and the paragraph sample.

Works well for titles, pull quotes, and short-to-medium passages where a vintage or rough-printed voice is desirable. It suits book and zine covers, event posters, rustic or heritage packaging, and brand applications that benefit from an authentic, analog feel. For long-form body text, the texture can become prominent, so generous size and leading help preserve comfort.

The overall tone feels archival and tactile, like type pulled from an old press, a well-used typewriter, or a photocopied document. The distressed texture adds grit and humanity, giving text a lived-in, narrative quality rather than a polished, corporate finish.

The design appears intended to evoke traditional serif typography while layering in deliberate wear and ink irregularity to mimic aged print and imperfect production. Its proportions and familiar serif skeleton keep it readable, while the distressed contour provides character and atmosphere.

In the sample text, the texture remains consistent across sizes, with speckled edges and slight wobble that reads as intentional rather than accidental. Numerals and punctuation share the same worn contour, helping maintain cohesion in mixed-content settings.
