A calligraphic serif with lively, slightly irregular outlines and a distinctly hand-cut rhythm. Strokes show gentle modulation, with broad, tapered joins and subtly flared terminals that read like inked or brush-formed shapes rather than mechanical construction. Serifs are bracketed and sometimes wedge-like, with softened corners and occasional notchiness that adds texture. Round letters (C, O, Q) are somewhat squarish in their curvature, while diagonals (V, W, X) feel crisp and splayed, creating a dynamic, variable silhouette across the alphabet. Lowercase forms are compact and a bit narrow in the bowls, with small counters and a slightly bouncy baseline impression in running text.

Best suited to display and short-to-medium text where a historical or handcrafted voice is desired, such as book and chapter titles, labels and packaging, posters, and identity work for artisanal brands. It can work for brief passages or pull quotes when a textured, old-style atmosphere is preferred over a neutral reading experience.

The font conveys an antique, human, and slightly rustic tone—evoking printed ephemera, folklore, or medieval/renaissance-inspired display work. Its warm irregularities and calligraphic stress add personality and charm, leaning more expressive than purely editorial.

The design appears intended to reinterpret old-style, calligraphy-influenced serif letterforms with deliberate irregularity and softened details to create a tactile, period-leaning texture. It prioritizes personality, warmth, and an antique print sensibility over strict geometric consistency.

In the sample text, texture builds quickly because of the uneven edge character and relatively tight internal spaces, which gives paragraphs a dark, woven color. Numerals share the same tapered, hand-formed feel, integrating well with the letterforms rather than appearing purely utilitarian.
