This serif shows extreme thick–thin modulation with a strongly vertical stress: dense, pillar-like stems are paired with very fine hairlines. Serifs are sharp and delicate, often reading as thin wedges or hairline feet, giving the outlines a crisp, engraved feel. Proportions are condensed overall, with tall capitals and a relatively moderate x-height; joins and curves transition quickly from heavy to hairline, producing high sparkle and tight rhythm in text. Numerals and caps appear sturdy and monumental, while the lowercase keeps the same severe contrast and narrow set, emphasizing verticality.

Best suited to display typography such as magazine headlines, fashion and beauty branding, premium packaging, and poster titles where the high contrast can shine. It can work for short pull quotes or deck text when set with ample spacing and careful size choice.

The tone is poised and theatrical, balancing classic elegance with a modern, high-fashion sharpness. Its stark contrast and slender width create a sense of luxury and formality, with an assertive, headline-ready presence.

The design appears intended to deliver a condensed, high-contrast serif for sophisticated display work—maximizing elegance and impact through dramatic modulation, sharp serifs, and a distinctly vertical, editorial rhythm.

At larger sizes the hairlines and terminals read razor-clean and refined, but the extreme contrast makes the face visually sensitive in dense settings; it benefits from generous tracking and comfortable line spacing. The overall texture is strongly striped, with dark verticals and bright counters creating a distinctive, editorial color.
