A delicate italic serif with pronounced thick–thin modulation and extremely fine hairlines. Letterforms are narrow-to-moderate in footprint with generous internal space, producing an airy color on the page. Serifs are sharp and clean, with tapered terminals and a predominantly vertical stress that gives the curves a polished, high-fashion feel. The italic construction is consistent and flowing rather than cursive, with smooth joins, compact bowls, and slender diagonals; numerals and capitals keep the same poised, high-contrast rhythm.

Best suited to display typography: magazine headers, pull quotes, book covers, and elegant branding systems where high contrast and a sleek italic voice are desirable. It can work for short passages or captions when set large with sufficient spacing, and it pairs well with restrained layouts that let its fine details remain clear.

The overall tone is sophisticated and quietly dramatic—more couture and editorial than casual. Its light touch and crisp detailing suggest formality, luxury, and a classic literary sensibility, while the italic slant adds movement and a sense of refinement.

The design appears intended to deliver a refined, high-contrast italic companion for sophisticated settings—prioritizing sharp hairlines, vertical elegance, and a smooth reading rhythm in display-oriented compositions.

At text sizes the hairlines read especially fine, so the face benefits from ample size and comfortable leading to preserve its crispness. The ampersand and several lowercase forms lean into a graceful, calligraphic italic flavor without becoming script-like.
