A monolinear, serifed typewriter design with visibly softened corners and subtly irregular outlines that mimic ink spread and mechanical wear. Strokes stay relatively even but show small wobbles, nicks, and slight swelling at joins and terminals, producing a lightly distressed texture without breaking the letterforms. Serifs are short and blunted, counters are open, and the overall drawing feels roomy and steady, with consistent character widths and a calm, horizontal rhythm. Numerals and punctuation follow the same inked, slightly imperfect finish, keeping the set visually cohesive in running text.

Well-suited to designs that want a believable typed or retro-document look, such as period-inspired graphics, editorial headlines, book-cover titling, and poster work. It can also add tactile character to short-to-medium text in brochures, labels, and zine-style layouts where a slightly worn, printed feel is desirable.

The font conveys an analog, archival tone—like typed documents, field notes, or photocopied pages. Its gentle roughness reads as human and lived-in rather than aggressive, balancing practicality with nostalgia.

The design appears intended to recreate the visual behavior of a mechanical typewriter on paper—consistent spacing and sturdy serifed shapes combined with subtle ink irregularities for authenticity and atmosphere.

In the sample text, the texture becomes more apparent at larger sizes, where the uneven edges and softened terminals add character. In longer passages, the consistent spacing and sturdy forms help maintain readability while the distressed details keep the page from feeling overly sterile.
