A typewriter-inspired serif with chunky slab-like terminals and visibly irregular, worn outlines. Strokes stay fairly even in thickness, while edges show nibble-like erosion, ink spread, and occasional internal roughness that mimics imperfect impressions. Letterforms are compact and sturdy with rounded corners and soft joins, producing a consistent rhythm across caps and lowercase. Numerals follow the same rugged, stamped look, with a slightly uneven baseline feel created by the distressed contours rather than true slant or contrast shifts.

Works well for display typography where a tactile, printed texture is desirable—posters, album covers, book or film titling, packaging, and branding that leans industrial or archival. It can also support short paragraphs or captions when a typewritten, weathered voice is intentional and sufficient size/contrast is maintained.

The font conveys an analog, documentary tone—like carbon copies, old office paperwork, or printed ephemera that’s been handled and re-inked over time. Its texture adds grit and immediacy, evoking vintage machinery, zines, and utilitarian labels rather than polished editorial typography.

The design appears intended to capture the familiar structure of a classic typewriter slab serif while adding controlled degradation to simulate worn type, uneven inking, and rough press output. The goal is to deliver instant period character and material texture without sacrificing recognizability.

Distress is consistent across the set, reading as ink wear and rough printing rather than random deformation, which helps it hold together in paragraphs. The texture becomes more prominent at larger sizes, while smaller settings preserve a recognizable typewriter silhouette with a subtly dirty surface.
