A roughened serif with sturdy, low-contrast strokes and noticeably irregular edges that mimic worn printing or ink spread. The letterforms are fairly broad with open counters and a steady, upright stance, while small nicks, bumps, and uneven terminals add texture across the set. Serifs are short and softened rather than sharp, and the overall rhythm feels slightly jittery in a controlled, repeatable way, keeping paragraphs readable while retaining a tactile, distressed surface.

Well suited for posters, book covers, packaging, and branding that benefits from a tactile, timeworn print feel. It can also work for short editorial blocks, pull quotes, or captions where you want legibility with character, especially in projects themed around craft, history, or rustic environments.

The font conveys an old-world, printed-on-paper character—part typewriter, part letterpress—bringing a sense of age, patina, and handmade imperfection. Its consistent roughness reads as authentic and utilitarian, suggesting archival documents, workshop labels, or weathered signage rather than polished corporate typography.

The design appears intended to deliver a classic serif structure with a deliberately degraded surface, capturing the look of imperfect reproduction—such as letterpress, stamped ink, or aged type—while keeping proportions and counters clear enough for practical setting.

In the sample text, the texture remains present at text sizes without collapsing into noise, and spacing appears comfortable for continuous reading. The distressed treatment is uniform across caps, lowercase, and numerals, giving a cohesive ‘printed and worn’ voice rather than random deformation.
