A refined serif with strong thick–thin modulation, vertical stress, and crisp, sharply cut serifs. Curves transition into thin hairlines with a clean, polished rhythm, while capitals show sturdy stems and controlled, slightly calligraphic modulation. The lowercase has compact, tidy forms with clearly defined joins and small finishing strokes; round letters like o and e stay smooth and taut, and the a is two-storey with a firm bowl. Numerals follow the same contrast pattern, mixing straight stems with fine terminals and occasional curled details, keeping an overall elegant, print-oriented texture.

Well suited to book interiors, long-form editorial text, and magazine layouts where a traditional, high-contrast serif texture is desired. It also performs convincingly for elegant headlines, pull quotes, and formal materials such as invitations or programs, especially at sizes that allow the hairlines and terminals to read clearly.

The overall tone feels classic and literary, with a poised, authoritative presence. Its high-contrast strokes and precise detailing convey refinement and formality, evoking traditional book typography and established editorial design.

The font appears designed to deliver a classic, high-contrast serif voice with a disciplined rhythm and polished finishing, balancing readability with a distinctly refined, traditional character for editorial and formal applications.

The design maintains consistent contrast and terminal treatment across uppercase, lowercase, and figures, producing a bright page color at larger sizes and a distinctly elegant sparkle in text. Stroke endings are generally sharp and clean rather than heavily bracketed, reinforcing a crisp, engraved-like impression.
