A high-contrast italic serif with pronounced thick–thin modulation and crisp, bracketed serifs. The forms show a lively, calligraphic axis with angled stress, narrow-ish apertures, and wedge-like terminals that keep counters compact and shapes energetic. Capitals are sturdy and sculpted with strong hairlines in the joins, while lowercase features single-storey a and g, compact bowls, and a rightward, forward-leaning rhythm. Numerals follow the same contrast and italic slant, with assertive curves and sharp finishing details.

Well suited to headlines, subheads, and pull quotes where contrast and italic motion can carry tone and hierarchy. It can also work effectively for short-to-medium editorial passages and book-cover typography, especially where a classic, emphatic serif voice is desired.

The overall tone feels traditional and editorial, with a confident, slightly dramatic presence typical of classic publishing typography. Its strong contrast and italic movement add flair and emphasis, giving it a literary, refined character suited to expressive text settings.

The design appears intended to deliver a conventional serif foundation with added energy through italic construction and strong contrast, balancing classical proportions with a more dramatic, attention-grabbing texture for display-led editorial use.

Stroke transitions are clean and decisive, with noticeable weight concentration on main stems and very thin connecting strokes and serifs. The italic angle is consistent across cases, and the letterforms maintain a disciplined baseline and cap alignment while still feeling lively due to the sharp terminals and compressed counters.
