A tall, tightly set display face with extremely elongated verticals and sharp, tapered terminals. Strokes alternate between hairline connectors and stronger stems, creating a tense, high-contrast rhythm with a distinctly drawn, pen-like feel. Curves are narrow and controlled, with small apertures and occasional angular joins; diagonals (notably in V/W/X/K) read as slender blades. The lowercase mirrors the compressed proportions, with compact bowls and long ascenders/descenders, while figures are similarly narrow with simple, vertical construction.

Best used at display sizes for headlines, posters, and title treatments where its condensed height and sharp contrast can be appreciated. It can add a gothic, ceremonial edge to branding, packaging, event graphics, and book or album covers, particularly when paired with simpler body text.

The overall tone is gothic and ceremonial, combining an old-world, blackletter-leaning mood with a fashion-editorial sleekness. Its narrow, towering silhouette feels dramatic and deliberate, suited to messages that want severity, mystique, or luxurious tension rather than warmth or casual readability.

The design appears intended to fuse medieval-inspired sharpness with a modern, ultra-condensed display silhouette, prioritizing vertical drama and ornamental tension. It emphasizes presence and atmosphere over extended reading comfort, aiming for a distinctive, memorable texture in short phrases and titles.

In longer lines the consistent vertical emphasis produces a strong striped texture; spacing and counters appear intentionally tight, which amplifies the dark, architectural color at display sizes. Many terminals finish in fine points, so the face reads crisp and delicate, especially where hairlines intersect heavier stems.
