A heavy, display-oriented serif with pronounced vertical stress and sharp contrast between thick stems and fine internal cuts. Serifs read as flared and wedge-like rather than slabby, with crisp, mostly unbracketed transitions that create a carved, punchy silhouette. Counters are relatively tight for the weight, and many glyphs show angular notches and tapered entry/exit strokes that give the black shapes a chiseled, poster-like rhythm. Round forms (O, Q, 0, 6, 8, 9) feel compact and sturdy, while verticals dominate and horizontals often appear thinner and more knife-edged.

This face performs best in display settings such as headlines, posters, mastheads, book and album covers, and bold packaging typography where its contrast and sculpted details can be appreciated. It can also work for short editorial subheads or pull quotes, but its dense color and sharp internal cuts make it less suitable for long, small-size text.

The overall tone is assertive and theatrical, with a vintage, headline-driven presence. Its strong contrast and sculpted terminals suggest formality and spectacle at the same time—well suited to statements that need to feel ceremonial, classic, or emphatically bold.

The design appears intended to deliver maximum impact with a classic serif vocabulary, using strong vertical structure and finely cut internal details to create a bold, engraved-like presence. It aims to feel authoritative and ornamental without relying on slab serifs, emphasizing dramatic modulation and a tightly packed texture.

The lowercase shows a robust, slightly condensed feel in places, with single-storey shapes and prominent terminals that keep the texture dense and dark in paragraphs. Numerals are highly stylized and weighty, matching the uppercase’s dramatic modulation and maintaining strong impact in large sizes.
