A refined serif with gently flared stroke endings and noticeable contrast between thick verticals and finer connecting strokes. Serifs are small and tapered rather than blocky, and many joins resolve into soft, calligraphic terminals that widen slightly at the ends. Uppercase forms are poised and classical with generous interior space (notably in C, O, and G), while the lowercase shows a crisp, bookish rhythm with a two-storey a and g, compact shoulders, and a slightly lively baseline presence. Figures follow the same crisp, tapered logic, with clean curves and restrained detailing that keeps the texture even in longer settings.

Well-suited to editorial typography such as books, magazines, essays, and long-form reading where a classic serif texture is desired. The distinctive flared terminals also make it effective for chapter heads, pull quotes, packaging copy, and brand wordmarks that want a refined, slightly calligraphic signature.

The overall tone is cultured and composed, with a faint hand-drawn warmth that keeps it from feeling mechanical. It reads as traditional and editorial, leaning toward a literary, old-world sophistication while remaining clear and contemporary in texture.

The design appears intended to blend classical serif proportions with subtly flared, calligraphic finishing to create a voice that feels both traditional and personable. It aims for readability in text while offering enough terminal character to stand out in headings and identity work.

In text, the face maintains a consistent vertical emphasis and a tidy color, helped by open counters and restrained ornamentation. The flared terminals and tapered serifs add character at display sizes, while the moderate detailing stays controlled enough for continuous reading.
