A high-contrast serif with strong thick–thin modulation and crisp, sharp terminals. Serifs are slender and clean, with a generally classical, transitional-to-Didone feel: vertical strokes dominate while curves taper into fine hairlines. The letterforms show generous capitals and sturdy stems paired with delicate joins, producing a polished rhythm at text sizes. Lowercase counters are fairly open, with compact apertures and a prominent teardrop-like ball terminal visible on the g; overall spacing reads measured and bookish rather than condensed or wide.

It works especially well for magazine typography, book covers, and display-level headlines where the high contrast can shine. In editorial layouts it can serve for pull quotes, section openers, and refined branding applications that want a classic serif voice with a sharper, more modern edge.

The font projects an editorial, upscale tone—confident and literary with a hint of fashion-forward drama from the extreme contrast. It feels formal and composed, suited to settings where refinement and authority are desirable.

The design appears aimed at delivering a conventional text-serif foundation with elevated contrast and a more luxurious, contemporary finish. Its proportions and disciplined detailing suggest an intention to bridge literary readability with high-end display sophistication.

The numerals follow the same contrast logic, mixing robust verticals with razor-thin hairlines, which enhances elegance but can make fine details feel more fragile at small sizes or on low-resolution outputs. The italic is not shown; all samples appear upright.
