A high-contrast serif with crisp, bracketed serifs and pronounced thick–thin modulation. Stems are sturdy and vertical while hairlines and cross-strokes taper to fine points, producing a sharp, engraved rhythm. Capitals feel stately with wide, open counters and confident diagonals; lowercase shows compact joins, a two-storey a, and a sturdy, legible skeleton. Numerals mix straight, chiseled forms with ball-like terminals on select figures, maintaining a consistent, polished texture in text.

Well suited to editorial typography such as magazine headlines, pull quotes, and refined book work where a classic serif voice is desired. It also fits formal communication—programs, invitations, and branding—especially when set with generous spacing and used at display to showcase the contrast.

The overall tone is cultured and authoritative, with a distinctly editorial elegance. Its sharp hairlines and sculpted serifs evoke a traditional, literary voice suited to refined, high-end typography.

The design appears intended to deliver a conventional, text-serif structure with heightened contrast for a more luxurious, attention-catching presence. It balances traditional proportions with crisp detailing to read as both classic and fashion-forward in contemporary layouts.

In the sample text, the contrast and hairlines become especially prominent at larger sizes, giving headings a dramatic, print-like snap. The texture remains orderly and readable, but the finest strokes suggest it will look best where rendering is clean and reproduction quality is high.
