A decorative serif display face with tall, condensed proportions and extreme thick–thin modulation. Stems resolve into long needle-like tapers, with irregular, drip-like terminals and occasional thorny spurs that give the outlines a distressed, ink-drawn feel. Counters are relatively open for the style, while joins and cross strokes stay minimal and sharp, creating a vertical, piercing rhythm. The overall texture is uneven by design, with deliberate roughness and hanging fragments that read as drips or scratches rather than clean curves.

Best suited to short display settings such as horror film titles, Halloween promotions, haunted attraction signage, game logos, and dramatic poster headlines. It can also work for chapter openers or pull quotes where a chilling accent is desired, but it is less appropriate for dense body copy due to its intricate terminals and high-contrast strokes.

The font projects a suspenseful, haunted tone—part classic horror title card, part occult poster. Its sharp tapers and dripping details create a sense of tension and decay, making text feel ominous and theatrical rather than friendly or neutral.

The design appears intended to evoke dripping ink and sharpened, claw-like strokes while retaining a recognizable serif skeleton for legibility in headlines. Its narrow, towering forms and distressed finishing aim to deliver immediate genre signaling and high-impact atmosphere.

Capitals carry the strongest character through elongated verticals and exaggerated terminals, while lowercase and numerals maintain the same drip-and-spike language for consistency. The contrast and fine hairlines make it most effective when given enough size and spacing to keep the fragile details from filling in.
