A high-contrast serif with razor-thin hairlines, strong vertical stress, and crisp, tapered serifs. Capitals are proportionally wide with clean, open counters and finely pointed apexes (notably in A and W), while curves in C, G, and S show smooth, controlled modulation. The lowercase keeps a traditional, text-serif skeleton with a two-storey a and g, delicate joins, and narrow, upright stems; overall spacing reads measured and even, with a polished rhythm in words and sentences. Numerals follow the same display-leaning contrast, combining thin entry strokes with confident main stems and sharp finishing terminals.

Best suited to display and large text settings such as magazine headlines, pull quotes, book covers, and brand wordmarks where its high-contrast details can be appreciated. It can also work for short editorial paragraphs in print or high-resolution digital contexts, especially when generous spacing and sizes are used.

The tone is poised and luxurious, with a distinctly editorial sensibility that suggests premium print—fashion, culture, and high-end branding. Its crisp contrast and fine details convey formality and refinement rather than warmth or casualness.

The letterforms appear designed to deliver a classic, contemporary Didone-inspired impression: dramatic contrast, precise finishing, and a stately rhythm that elevates content and signals premium positioning.

The design’s hairlines and sharp terminals give it a distinctly “glossy” look at larger sizes, while the controlled proportions keep paragraphs from feeling overly decorative. The italic is not shown; all samples appear upright.
