This typeface is built from rigid, straight-sided forms with a strongly angular silhouette and very few curves. Strokes maintain an even, sturdy weight, while terminals and serifs flare into pointed, wedge-like endings that read as faceted and chiseled. Counters tend toward rectangular shapes and apertures are tight, giving the letters a compact, emphatic rhythm. The lowercase echoes the uppercase’s structural geometry, with sharp joins, squared bowls, and pronounced spur details that create a consistent, cut-from-metal feel across the set.

Best suited to short, prominent settings such as headlines, posters, mastheads, and brand marks where its angular detailing can be appreciated. It can also work for packaging or event materials that benefit from a historic or gothic atmosphere; for longer text, generous size and spacing will help maintain clarity.

The overall tone is gothic and vintage, with a ceremonial, old-world gravitas. Its sharp flares and boxed-in counters feel assertive and theatrical, suggesting tradition, craft, and a slightly ominous drama rather than casual friendliness.

The letterforms appear intentionally engineered to evoke carved, blackletter-adjacent tradition using a simplified, sturdy stroke system. The consistent angular construction and flared endings suggest a goal of delivering strong presence and period character while remaining structurally regular and repeatable across glyphs.

The design’s texture becomes especially noticeable in running text: repeated wedges and spurs create a patterned cadence, while the constrained interior space can make dense passages feel darker and more insistent. Numerals follow the same faceted logic, reinforcing a cohesive display-oriented voice.
