A heavy, condensed slab-serif with sturdy bracketed serifs and a strongly vertical, rectangular build. Strokes are thick and largely even, with only modest modulation, producing a dense, high-ink texture in text. The serifs read as broad, squared slabs with softened joins, and counters are relatively tight, especially in rounds like O and Q. Uppercase forms are compact and forceful, while the lowercase keeps a traditional two-storey a and g, helping maintain conventional word shapes despite the weight. Figures are similarly robust, with bold, poster-friendly silhouettes and clear, blocky terminals.

Best suited to large-format display applications such as headlines, posters, team or athletic marks, packaging panels, and bold signage where its compact width and slab weight can maximize impact. It can also work for short subheads or callouts when set with a bit of extra spacing to keep counters from clogging.

The overall tone is assertive and workmanlike, with a classic American display flavor that can feel both retro and utilitarian. Its condensed, slabby massing evokes headline typography seen on posters, sports branding, and industrial signage—confident, loud, and unapologetically bold.

The design appears intended to deliver maximum visual punch in a condensed footprint while retaining familiar serifed letterforms for legibility. By combining broad slabs, tight proportions, and sturdy construction, it aims to provide a confident, attention-grabbing voice for branding and display typography.

Spacing appears intentionally tight, creating strong rhythm and a continuous dark band in longer lines. The design favors crisp, squared-off details over delicate refinement, and small interior spaces suggest it will read best when given adequate size or tracking in dense settings.
