An old-style italic serif with a noticeably calligraphic construction and a lively, uneven rhythm. Strokes show diagonal stress and moderate thick–thin modulation, with bracketed, gently tapered serifs and subtly flared terminals. Proportions feel traditional and slightly narrow in the curves, while the strong rightward slant and varied entry/exit strokes give the letters a handwritten cadence. The lowercase is compact with small counters and delicate joins, and capitals are more formal but still animated by angled serifs and curved, brush-like finishing strokes.

Well suited to editorial typography where a classic italic voice is desired—book and chapter titles, pull quotes, introductions, and cultural or literary branding. It can also support formal stationery and invitations, and works nicely on premium packaging or labels where a traditional, crafted tone helps differentiate the message.

The overall tone is literary and classic, with a warm, human touch rather than a rigid or mechanical feel. It reads as refined and slightly historical, suggesting bookish elegance and traditional craft.

The design appears intended to translate broad-nib calligraphy into a readable, text-capable italic, combining traditional old-style proportions with expressive terminals and a cultivated, historical flavor.

The italic forms are assertive and consistent across caps and lowercase, with distinctive curved terminals and occasional looped or hooked details that add character at larger sizes. Spacing and letter shapes produce a gently rolling texture in text, favoring atmosphere and style over strict neutrality.
