A flared serif design with gently tapered strokes that broaden into wedge-like terminals, giving the outlines a subtly calligraphic feel without strong stroke contrast. Serifs are braced and compact, with pointed, triangular moments at joins and terminals that keep the texture crisp. Proportions are moderately compact with a steady rhythm, and counters stay fairly open for a dark-but-readable color. The lowercase shows a two-storey “a,” a compact, rounded “e,” and a “g” with a small ear, while figures sit evenly with sturdy verticals and clean curves.

Well-suited to editorial design, books, and longer-form reading where a steady serif texture is beneficial. It also works effectively for headlines, pull quotes, and brand systems that want a classic, crafted tone—especially in packaging and identity applications that benefit from subtle flare and sharp terminals.

The overall tone is traditional and literary, evoking printed text and heritage editorial typography. Its flared endings add a crafted, slightly formal warmth, making the voice feel authoritative without becoming ornate or high-contrast.

The design appears intended to blend traditional serif readability with a lightly calligraphic, flared-stem personality. It aims for a versatile, print-forward texture that can carry both text and display roles while retaining a distinctive, crafted finish at stroke endings.

Spacing reads even in the paragraph sample, producing a stable text block with clear word shapes. The capitals feel poised and inscriptional in character, and the strong, tapered terminals lend definition at larger sizes while maintaining a consistent texture in continuous reading.
