A high-contrast serif with razor-thin hairlines and broad vertical stems, producing a sharp, polished texture. Serifs are fine and elegantly bracketed, with pointed, chiseled terminals and a distinctly vertical (non-calligraphic) stress. Proportions feel slightly condensed in places, with tight apertures and compact counters that emphasize the bold/thin rhythm. The lowercase shows a traditional book face structure—two-storey “a” and “g,” crisp joins, and a relatively restrained x-height—while numerals and capitals carry a stately, display-forward presence.

Best suited to headlines, magazine typography, and brand identities where elegance and contrast are advantages. It will shine in large sizes for editorial titles, fashion and beauty layouts, packaging, and premium product branding. For longer passages, it is most comfortable when set with generous size and leading to protect the thin features.

The overall tone is sophisticated and formal, with a distinctly editorial and fashion-oriented sheen. Its stark contrast and precise finishing convey luxury and authority, while the tight rhythm adds drama and a sense of high-end polish.

This design appears intended to deliver a contemporary, high-fashion take on a classic high-contrast serif, prioritizing crisp elegance and dramatic light–dark rhythm. The forms aim for prestige and clarity in display settings while retaining conventional text-serif structures for familiar reading behavior.

In the sample text, the contrast creates strong vertical striping and a bright page color at larger sizes, while fine details (hairlines, serifs, and thin cross-strokes) become the main sensitivity as size decreases. Round forms (O/Q/0/8) feel taut and controlled, and the ampersand has a bold, decorative weight that reads as a focal character.
