A heavy, ink-rich display face with blackletter-informed forms and noticeably rough, hand-rendered edges. Strokes are thick with moderate contrast and bulbous, slightly flared terminals, giving counters a compact, carved-out feel. Proportions vary from glyph to glyph, with a subtly uneven rhythm and organic silhouette that reads like brush or marker lettering refined into gothic lettershapes. Uppercase and lowercase share a consistent dark color and squat, sturdy stance, while numerals follow the same chunky, distressed contour.

Best suited to display settings where texture and atmosphere are desirable—posters, titles, chapter heads, labels, and themed packaging. It can support short passages for stylized editorial or fantasy content, but will be most effective when given ample size and spacing so the rough contours and tight counters remain clear.

The font projects an old-world, medieval tone with a gritty handmade texture. It feels like aged print, tavern signage, or a fantasy prop—serious and dramatic, but also playful in its irregular inkiness.

The design appears intended to merge blackletter heritage with a hand-drawn, distressed finish, delivering a bold gothic voice that feels printed, worn, and human-made. Its goal is atmosphere over neutrality—creating instant period flavor and dramatic presence.

Edges appear intentionally distressed rather than mechanically crisp, which boosts personality at larger sizes but can create busy interiors in dense text. Round letters (like O/o and 8) maintain a strong, dark enclosure, and diagonals and joins show soft, slightly blunted angles that keep the gothic influence from becoming razor-sharp.
