A heavy, display-oriented roman with blunt, blocky shapes and aggressively roughened contours. Strokes appear as if over-inked and then worn back, producing chipped edges, small bites, and uneven exterior silhouettes across nearly every glyph. Counters are irregular and sometimes partially occluded, with a slightly “stamped” feel that keeps the forms readable while embracing distortion. Terminals tend to be squared-off, and the overall rhythm is lively and uneven, like distressed type printed on absorbent stock or scraped by texture.

Best suited for short, high-impact copy such as posters, gig and festival flyers, album/playlist covers, packaging callouts, and apparel graphics. It also works well for title cards and section headers where a rough, tactile imprint is desired, rather than extended reading.

The font conveys a gritty, confrontational energy—more DIY and street-level than refined. Its distressed texture suggests age, friction, and imperfect reproduction, giving headlines an urgent, rebellious tone that feels at home in rough, analog-inspired visuals.

The design appears intended to mimic distressed printing or eroded lettering while retaining a sturdy, upright structure. It prioritizes texture and attitude over smooth typographic finish, aiming to deliver bold legibility with an intentionally battered, analog edge.

The distressing is consistent enough to maintain clear letter identities, but the busy edges and dark mass can close up at smaller sizes. The strongest results will come from generous tracking, strong contrast against the background, and avoiding long passages where texture fatigue can set in.
